Meesapulimala shelters vast variety of Flora and Fauna . Trekkers, if lucky, can witness Nilgiri tahr, Wild Gaur, Sambar Dear and If too Lucky then wild Elephants too. Different species of Rare Dragon Flies, damsel Flies, Butterflies and Moths are also  native to this place. Flycatchers, typically seen in North East India, China and Srilanka, are seen migrating here. Brown Breasted Flycatcher is one Popular bird among those. Fortunate eyes will spot Nilgiri Flycather whose species are said to be threatfully decreasing.
